Defense & Security

We have been a regular contractor to the Swiss Army since the mid-1940s and have been allowed to supply programs such as the Army's command and control information system, the Air Force's helicopter simulators and NBC reconnaissance vehicles for the Genie and rescue forces. As a competence center, we have been supplying the Swiss Army with directional beam technology for over 30 years.

Training & Simulation

In this field, we are among the most important European players. We develop training and simulation solutions for armed forces on land, at sea and in the air, for police authorities and for helicopter operators. In Switzerland, we also operate the Swiss Armed Forces' Combat Training Centers (GAZ) East and West.

Identity & Biometric Solutions

We supply the Swiss identity card and the Swiss passport, ID cards for cantonal police corps and various federal authorities. In addition, we operate the ABC (Automated Border Control) gates at Basel and Geneva airports for automated border control.

Since the introduction of the first cards for cashless payment in the mid-1970s, we have been the market leader for high-quality card solutions: Credit, debit and bank cards. Our customers include all major financial institutions in Switzerland, as well as major distributors.
